JITO CHENNAI - SEMINAR ON INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION 4.0

JITO Chennai chapter witnessed the seminar on Industrial Revolution 4.0 conducted by Prof. Anuj Sharma – Founder Dean Auronya College, Puducherry. The members witnessed the peak into the future on how the industrial revolution will change the face of doing business with a range of new technologies that are fusing the physical, digital and biological worlds, and impacting all disciplines, economies and industries. Prof. Anuj Sharma explained the industry 4.0 is a name for the current trend of automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies. It includes cyber-physical systems, the Internet of things, cloud computing and cognitive computing. Lights were drawn on the revolution of "emerging technology breakthroughs" in elds such as articial intelligence, Virtual reality, robotics, the Internet of Things, autonomous vehicles, 3D printing, quantum computing and nanotechnology. Members were given thoughts on how to adapt & evolve to the technological disruption which is to take place in the manufacturing segment in a big way.
