JITO CHENNAI - JITO GAMES

A scintillating star studded launch ceremony was executed on 14th November 2017 at Hyatt Regency for JITO GAMES, Chennai by Shri Bharat Doshi (Director Games & Sports). An event planned like never before, grand Olympic style inaugural ceremony backed with lot of sporting action & team building activities. The chief guest for the evening was the Female fastest racer of India Alisha Abdullah. She was very happy that the Jain community was organizing such a massive sporting event wherein there were women participants. With 850 + individuals registering for various games it had made many heads turn to the main event which was to be held on 18th November.
Members witnessed a live musical performance without even a single instrument, human voice making all these sounds. The main motto of Jito Games is to promote sports among our Jain community across India.  
All roads on 18th November led to Nehru Indoor Stadium, wherein people witnessed a Grand Olympic Style Inaugural ceremony followed by the most exciting and extravagant sporting event like never before. The event, which hosted  1000+ participants competed for  JITO Games 2017 title, was full of  Aggression, Talent and  Nail biting matches. The action started at the wee hours of 18th November. The flawlessly executed Olympic Standards inaugural were starred by Shri Shihan Hussaini - Actor/ karate expert, Shri J.M Fernando – General Secretary TN Olympics association, Shri Hemang Badani - former Indian cricketer.
The herculean task was conceptualized & executed by the 18 member core committee, more than 50 people in 8 different sub - committee, 6 month of planning, 100’s of meeting, 1000's of man hour, aggressive campaign - various post on social media (more than 900 creative designed for entire event), poster in apartment, school, colleges across Tamil Nadu, mailers, sms, print media, etc., - reached more than 1,50,000 Jain folks on Facebook.
This resulted to 1000 participants from 10 different towns/cities of Tamil Nadu in the age category 8 to 66 years. For the first time it was decided to organize JITO games into team based format, all the participants were divided into 8 different teams. The winning team was Hirani Strikers & the 2nd place was Knights of Urban Tree.
JITO Games Team worked day and night to make sure that yet another event is etched in the history of JITO Chennai Chapter. Kudos to the excellent execution & team work under the leadership of Chapter Chairman – Shri Narendra Srisrimal, Chief Secretary – Shri Jeetendra Bhandari, Director - Sports – Shri Bharat Doshi,  Convenor – Shri Kiran Dantewadia & the team members.
