JITO INTERNATIONAL WING

JITO takes yet another leap and establishes its 6th International Chapter as JITO Thailand in Bangkok on 16th December 2017.
It was merely two months when the prelaunch was done during end of September 2017 with a gathering of around 300 and the Thailand team was confident enough to announce the launch on 16th December with an assured gathering of 500. During the pre-launch, Shri Poonam Ji Kothari was announced Chairman along with Shri Padam Ji Jain as Chief Secretary. Under the supervision of Shri Sanjay Ji Lodha, Chairman of JIW, both have worked extremely hard to have this event be a memorable one.
Preparations for the launch function started well in advance with planning of organising a business seminar together with the launch. Centrally located venue “Holiday Inn” at Silom, was chosen as the venue and all the community members were invited to witness the grand event.
The buzz about the launch was very well created through social media. The synergy and the coordination between Thailand Team and JITO Apex Secretariat was very swift and commendable.
Entire Jain fraternity in Bangkok was excited to join this moment. Thanks to untiring efforts made by Shri Nirmal Bardia, Shri Poonam Kothari and Shri Padam Jain under the guidance of Sanjay Lodha, JIW Chairman for driving the entire event.
All the guests arriving from other countries were overwhelmed with the warm welcome and had all the applause for smooth and hassle-free arrangements.  
The pre-event networking amongst the guests was a real good opportunity for them to assimilate with each other.
The launch function, graced by more than 40 members from India, started with Navkar Mantra and a welcome note by Shri Nirmal Bardia, Convenor of JITO Thailand.
Shri Sanjay Lodha, Chairman – JIW who moderated the entire event, had all praise for Thailand team for their dedicated efforts for both prelaunch and launch event. He proudly described JITO as an organisation which is all about relationship and about sharing and uplifting JAIN on a common platform so that all can come up together similar to the other renowned communities of the world. He ended his note by giving an honor of thanks  to all the Four Sponsors namely, Shri Nirmal Ji Bardiya (Convener of the Chapter), Shri Poonam Ji Kothari, (Chairman of Thailand Chapter), Shri Vikas Ji Lodha (Chief Patron & Chairman of Lodha Group) and Shri Ashish Ji Baid (Chief Patron & Owner of Bright Future Gems) for coming forward with their sponsorship of two days event.
Secretary General JITO Apex, Shri Satish Parakh emphasised the need to connect and termed JITO as the biggest, digitally advanced and the most effective platform to achieve this objective. Prior to this, CEO Lalit Jain shared with audience the corporate film of JITO depicting the philosophy together with the projects undertaken.
Dr. Harshad Mehta, a top notch businessman into diamond industry, while speaking in Gujrati, urged all the audience to join JITO as this is the platform which offers numerous benefits not only to its members but to the entire Jain community in Thailand for social, professional and business networking globally.
Presence of guests from Singapore, Dubai and Kenya was an attraction particularly when Shri Tushar Doshi announced the launch of Singapore Chapter in 3 months time and Shri Bharat Doshi from Kenya declared the dates 11th to 13th May 2018 for the launch of Kenya chapter. He invited all and promised that the Kenya launch to be one of the best chapter launch events. Shri Gautam Ostwal, Director made the announcement of JITO CONNECT Chennai Feb event. Shri Sumeet Ji Hirawat, patron member welcomed all the members to the dais.
Shri Motilal Oswal, Chairman JITO Apex described  JITO as the best platform to learn, earn and return and requested all to show to the world  Jainism as the way of life. He mentioned IIT and IIM coaching projects of JITO as the most important initiatives, since IITians and IIM pass outs have the potential to earn name and fame for the community at International level.
Shri Shantilal Kawar, President JITO Apex took the audience through the inspiring journey of JITO. With all the excitement, he informed the audience about Jain Global Card which is an instrument to connect the entire Jain community worldwide and shall facilitate the real census of Jains. He appreciated the efforts put in by Thailand team for launch of this chapter and assured that JITO Apex will support in best possible manner to fulfil the expectations of JITO Thailand.
Shri Poonam Kothari, in his acceptance speech as Chapter Chairman assured to make Thailand the most active International chapter by organising regular activities and also participating in Apex projects and activities and thus raise the flag of JITO.  He really appreciated the effort of Sanjay Lodha for his vision and efforts towards JITO going Global.
Later,  Shri Nirmal Bardiya invited FCP and Patron members on the dais which were initially 51 in numbers, but added up to 108 members with the positive and energetic milieu created through the impactful speeches which motivated the audience. Announcement of  more than 14 Ladies CP/Patron members was an attraction of the event.
Shri Motilal ji and Shri Shantilal ji administered the oath of office to the new members with Shri Poonamchand Kothari as Chapter Chairman and Shri Padam Jain as Chief Secretary.
The program ended with a beautiful Thai cultural dance performed by local artists followed by sumptuous Thai delicacies.
The Thailand launch indeed was a very successful one and has set high benchmark to be followed by other upcoming chapters.
Day 2
Thailand Business Seminar and Panel discussion
JITO Thailand team working in close cooperation with Shri Sanjay Ji Lodha, JIW Chairman had organized first international business seminar a day after the Thailand Launch. The Business Seminar was held at the Ballroom of Hotel - Holiday Inn Bangkok - with over 250 attendees with the intent to show value of JITO for Economic empowerment for Jain community at large.
Shri Sanjay Ji Lodha, who moderated the event during his opening remarks mentioned the importance of value learning and invited all 4 panelists for discussion: Shri Motilal Ji Oswal – Chairman of Motilal Oswal Financial Services, Dr. Harshad Ji Mehta – Founder of 7C's Group, Shri Rajendra Ji Bardiya – Founder of Gaurav Tower and Shri Vikas Kawatra Ji – Managing Director of the FIS of SCB Bank.
Shri Motilal ji Oswal gave his views on stock and financial market and  opinion on future business scenario.
Shri Vikas ji Kawatra also gave his personal views on the economic situation between Thailand and India and their performances from last 15 years in both the countries
Dr. Harshad Ji Mehta on asking question about diamond and gems and jewelry industry , he said talking on this matter is like talking in heaven”. He explained briefly on the industry issues and who one can overcome with proper strategy and idealogy.
Shri Rajendra Ji Bardiya expressed his views on real estate and how with his will power and risk taking accepted the challenges which were different from the given situation and become so successful. The only Mall in the city was first developed by him around 40 years back in Jaipur by the name Gaurav Tower which on the date is running very successfully.
The discussion went on and everyone gave the opinions on overcoming the mistakes in their life, accepting challenges, thinking out of box, Keep learning and educating and different mantras to be successful in the business as well as in the family  
Dr. Harshad Ji Mehta on asking how he is full of energetic in this age, he said that the things which he likes, he does the most and give his 100 percent
Shri Motilal ji Oswal on asking on stepping stone and learning , he coolly said that more you face the more you learn, and to learn from your earlier mistakes.
Shri Rajendra Ji Bardiya ended up with the note saying to do work with full enjoyment and should not be compelled to do.
After the panel discussion, Sanjay Lodha introduced a world-renowned speaker Mr. Reg Athwal, a best-selling Author, Investor, Family Business Adviser and a Successful Entrepreneur etc. During his presentation, he hooked the interest of all members present in the audience and allowed them to enjoy yet still learn from his speech on family business framework and how to extend family business successfully for generations to come.
Mr. Athwal had presented his book; “UNLEASH YOU FAMILY BUSSINESS DNA” his resourceful book to Shri Motil Lal ji Oswal and Shri Shanti lal ji Kawar, Satish Ji Parakh and Sanjay JI Lodha.
In conclusion, The business event under JITO Thailand/JIW Team was a super success with lot of learning for the entire audience.
