Australia Launch - An Another Big Hit from JITO...

JITO Australia was launched with pomp and show on 2nd June at magnificent MCEC Melbourne with announcement of 3 Chief Patron and 70 Patron members. Action packed day with full house of more than 250, was full of events like spectacular launch, motivational speakers, amazing cultural shows, energetic Panel Discussions and extensive Networking.
The day started with Registrations followed by networking among the members. After lighting of lamp and welcome note, Hon. Minister for Trade, Mr. Philip Dalidakis addressed the gathering. Audience were impressed with an array of projects and activities of JITO showcased through the JITO Corporate film. This was followed by Panel Discussion consisting of Australian dignitaries to speak on the topic “ Impact of Indian Diaspora in Australia. The guests were Hon. Ted Bailleiu, Ms. Molina Swarup, Mr.Rakesh Malhotra, Dr.Harpriya Rangan and Hon. David Southwick.
This was followed by a cultural show wherein the local dance performers danced to the tunes of Hindi numbers and enchanted the audience.

After a brief speech from JIW Chairman Shri Sanjay Lodha, Shri Gautam Ostwal – Director in Charge, Shri Mahaveer Mehta - Convenor, Dr.Anil Bhandari – Chairman of Chapter & Mem Dev Committee, the second round of Panel discussion started consisting of Indian dignitaries - Mr.Abhaya Srisrimal, Mr.Motilal Oswal, Mr.Satish Parakh and Mr.Tejraj Gulecha.

Motivational speaker Mr. Sam Cawthorn mesmerised the audience with his impressive speech. Industry wise business networking and referrals were exchanged during the Business vertical sessions and lot of MoUs were signed. Approx 65 prominent members from India attended the event. The oath of office was administered to the new team. Mr. Bhupendra Sethia was announced as Chapter Chairman. Later in the evening, everybody departed for networking cruise.
Next day all the members had a lovely drive along the Great Ocean Road and also enjoyed the helicopter ride over the 12 apostles. Later on, members who had opted for the vacation tour took off for Cairns, followed by Sydney , Brisbane and Gold Coast.
