JITO Belgaum, every year as usual since last 6 years, gave Scholarship of Rs. 5000/- each on 24th June to 32 SSLC passed, needy and meritorious Jain students from Belgaum District. The scholarships were distributed at the hands of Chief Guest Shri Dhranendra Kumar (RTD Executive Engineer Minor Irrigation), Col Ajay Jain (Indian Army) & Shantilalji Porwal. Total 155 applications were received online & offline. After detailed study, 32 applicants were shortlisted for the scholarship. In addition to the interest accrued from Corpus amount donated by Shri Shantlalji Porwal & Sanjivji Doddanavar, JITO Member Shri Ashokji Gheewala from Pune sponsored Rs 5000 each to 10 students, Hajare Kitchenware sponsored Rs 5000/- each to 5 students, Pushpak Hanamannavar donated Rs 5000/- each to 2 students & CA Satishji Mehta donated Rs 5000 to 1 student for the Scholarship. The event was led under the chairmanship of Kuntinath Kalmani which was ably supported by Director in-charge Pushpak Hanamannavar, Chairman CA Satish Mehta, Chief Secretary Vikram Jain & other members of JITO Belgaum Chapter. Hajare Kitchenware sponsored Rs 5000/- each to 5 students, Pushpak Hanamannavar donated Rs 5000/- each to 2 students & CA Satishji Mehta donated Rs 5000 to 1 student for the Scholarship. The event was led under the chairmanship of Kuntinath Kalmani which was ably supported by Director incharge Pushpak Hanamannavar, Chairman CA Satish Mehta, Chief Secretary Vikram Jain & other members of JITO Belgaum Chapter.
