Cricket League-LOKSEVA CUP 2017

JITO Ballari started the year with a mega event - JITO Cricket League(JCL) Lokseva Cup - 2017 which was held on 14th & 15th January. The main sponsor for the event was Lokseva Dresses. A total of 12 teams of 168 participants registered for this event. History was created when each of these teams were auctioned to the highest bidder. The inauguration of JCL was graced by Superintendent of Police - Ballari, Shri R. Chetan in the presence of Zonal Director Shri Praveen Bafna, Chapter Chairman Shri Ashok Bagrecha, Chapter Chief Secretary Shri VinodBagrecha& other members of the Chapter. Men, women & children gathered in huge numbers to witness the event.  Each team in its individual colourful jersey paraded the ground & the sight was extraordinary. For the next two days the scene on the ground was that of a carnival with over a 1000 community members attending the event & 5 new patron members were announced. The people of Ballari including the  SP,  players & the spectators were all praise for having conducted this event on international standards. Team Royals ultimately proved why they were the favourite choice by winning the cup. The Valedictory function was attended by Deputy Commissioner of Ballari Shri RamprasathManohar. The mega event came to an end but the efforts put in by the chapter members in organising this event on such a scale has left sweet memories in the minds of the spectators which will last for years to come.
