JITO Gowalia Tank organised a seminar on "Demonetisation: Effects & Way ahead’’ on 26th November at the Taj Imperial Club, Tardeo, Mumbai.The speakers for the event were CA Paras Savla, KPB Associates, CA Sanjeev Lalan, GBCA, CA Rakesh Dharawat, Dhruva Advisors and CA Vimal Punamia. The event was graced with the presence of Shri Shantilal Kawar, JITO Apex President, Shri Ashok K. Shah, JITO Apex VP, Shri Dhiraj Kothari, JITO Apex Treasurer, ShriSukhraj Nahar, JITO Mumbai Zone Chairman and many Directors, Chairman, Secretaries from Mumbai zone with their chapter teams in large number. The speakers spoke and enlightened on various topics such as Demonetisation, IT laws, Benami act, Money Laundering act, sections, penalty, growth aspects and future regulations.The Q&A session was the highlight of the event wherein the audience and speakers had an honest and passionate discussion on the topic. Chapter Chairman Shri Praveen Bachhawat, Chief Secretary Shri Joitkumar Jain and the whole team including Vice Chairman Shri Ashok Mehta, all secretaries namely Shri Vicky Oswal, Shri Mukesh Doshi, Shri Basesh Gala & Treasurer Shri Omprakash Kanungo were appreciated on successfully conducting a Mumbai zone level event in a short span of 5 days.
