Smart City- Concept & Execution

JITO Indore Chapter jointly with Jain Engineers Society organised talk show on Smart City-Concept and execution at Sanmati School Sabhagrah on 30^th April. 100 cities have been selected for development of smart city project. Indore has been selected among first 20 cities who will receive centre share immediately. The total cost of smart city project in this phase is Rs.5000 cores and for this, Rajwada area of Indore has been selected. M/s. Mehta and Associates were the consultants for Indore and Jabalpur along with M/s. Oswal computers and Consultants Pvt. Ltd. These two Cities have been selected among first 20 cities who will receive Central government funds for the project.  Shri Hitendra Mehta, Patron member and Consultant briefed all guests and distinguished gathering of nearly 100 prominent personalities of Indore. He explained in detail through power point presentation about the criteria for empanelment in smart cities and then selection mechanism for coming in the first 20 Cities. Chapter Chief Secretary Shri Bhagwat S Nagori briefed about role of Information and communication technology (ICT) in smart cities. Guest and speakers were honoured by our members Director Apex & Secretary Dr. Anil Bhandari, Shri Kushal K Khabya and Shri Rajendra Jain.
