JITO is known for its humanitarian deeds following its mission and vision of Sewa, Shiksha and Arthik Saddharta.

Under the dynamic leadership of Chairman Shri Jigish Shah, JITO Ahmedabad Team immediately started fund raising activities to tackle the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic situation.

  1. Committee members and other JITO members have generously committed for donationof Rs. 1.75 crore.
  2. 30,000 food packets with an average of 1500 food packets on daily basis were distributed to needy people.
  3. 350 Grocery kits were distributed by JITO and 700 grocery kits were given to Anandji Kalyanji pedhi to serve the needy.
  4. 25000 PPE kits were donated to Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation for frontline warriors like Social workers, Para-medical workers and Police officers.
  5. This contribution was well appreciated by Shri Vijay Nehra, Municipal Commissioner of Ahmedabad on his twitter handle.
  6. 2000 sanitation kits including Mask, Hand Wash, and Soap along with 2 lakh Multi Vitamin tablets were donated to improve immunity system of Gujarat Police Department
  7. 2 lakh Homeopathic Tablet Arsenic Alb were donated to Ayush Department, Gujarat.
  8. Rs. 5 lakh were donated for Jeevdaya on auspicious day of Mahavir Janm Kalyanak to Panjrapole near Ahmedabad City.
  9. Online application form link for Sadharmik  was shared and immediately received more than 2000 applications from them. Post scrutiny,Rs. 2000 per application was distributed to 1462 members,for this cause to the aspiring community members.  
  10. JITO Ahmedabad Ladies wing distributed medicines to the needy families and food packets through Aahar App with the help of Robin Hood army.
  11. JITO Ahmedabad also started 5 Mobile Medical Dispensary Camping Van for Covid 19 identification and examination of people in slum and densely populated areas.
