JITO KOLKATA LADIES WING - STORY WRITING COMPETITION

JITO Ladies Wing, Kolkata in association with YMS Reader’s Planet held a creative story writing competition on 27th December for the children and grandchildren of all the members on the inauguration of YMS Readers’Planet, library which is the brainchild of Chairperson Sheetal Dugar’s three daughters. The library has more than thousand books which are available for everybody at free of cost. JITO Ladies Wing, Kolkata took the initiative to take care of this library under their umbrella and vowed to promote knowledge and creativity towards the society. The aim of this event was to bring all the children of JITO Ladies Wing members together for interaction. This event witnessed the participation of around 45 children among which 5 children were awarded with the best story prize and the remaining participating children were awarded with gift pack. Renowned Novel writer Aishwariya Garodia was the judge of this event and this event also witnessed MLA Mrs. Smita Bakshi as the Chief Guest along with many other distinguished guests such as Miss Neha Daga editor in Kolkata’s famous Sanmarg Newspaper as well as Miss Managua, head reporter of eastern zone, Aaj Tak. JITO Ladies Wing honoured these two young journalists for their brilliant work in the field of media as well towards the society.
