JITO Ghatkopar Ladies wing organized a learning, encouraging and charitable one day picnic to Solapur. Nearly 60 Ladies actively participated in the trip. The members reached Sugran Farm of Solapur which is managed by Ladies only. Nearly 250 ladies are employed in this farm. Lady members tasted all the freshly grown vegetables and fruits of the farm followed by lunch. Thereafter, they went to visit Snehalaya Ashram. The Chairman and Chief functionary officer of the Ashram is Shri Pradeep kumar ji Singhvi (FCP Member). His Son Shri Jeevanji Singhvi also actively participates in the maintenance of the Ashram. This ashram works on the Key Issues of Education & Literacy, Women empowerment. The main work of Snehalaya is rehabilitation of Commercial Sex Workers & their Children. Nearly 200 kids of Sex workers are being educated and given overall development in this Ashram. The ladies distributed toys, games and trophies to the kids of Ashram.
