JITO Mumbai Ghatkopar Chapter had organized marathon named “Run To Cure“ on 18 February for Awareness of Dialysis . Marathon was conducted for 2 Kms, 5 Kms and 10 Kms. More than 3000 people participated in Marathon.. The idea and agenda for this Marathon was to have maximum participation and awareness towards Dialysis & raise the funds towards dialysis center. Chief Guests were Bollywood Actors Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Bhavya Gandhi from serial “Tarak Mahta Ka Ultaa Chasma who graced the Event. On 17th February an Expo was arranged named “UDAAN” for distribution of T-Shirts and BIB for Marathon and Exhibiting shopping as well as different types of food items at Garodia Welfare Association at Garodia Nagar, Ghatkopar East. The Marathon was further divided in different groups like Fun-Run, Couple Run, Kids Run, Fancy Dress Run, Senior Citizen Run, Para -Diabled Run. Warm up Exercise and Zumba was performed by Hemani Goswami .28 Kids did Parade in Marathon. Chairman Shri Tarachand Ganna, Secretary Shri Pramod Mehta, Treasurer Shri Piyush Bafna, Shri Rahul Sanghavi, Shri Navinchandra Jain, Shri Mukesh Hiren, Shri Rameshbhai Morabia, Shri Khyalilal Tater and Ghatkopar Ladies wing Members worked whole heartedly for the success of the Event.
