JITO Chennai Youth Wing - Samvaad

JITO Youth Wing of Chennai Chapter decided to endeavour into an activity of conducting monthly interactions called‘Samvaad’ with dynamic personalities of dominant stature in their respective fields. Such an interaction was planned in an attempt to bridge the gap between a novice and an experienced person and also to build a tribe of empowered youth. Thus  a mentor-mentee relationship can be conceptualised. ‘Samvaad’ was inaugurated by facilitating an interactive session with Abhaya Srisrimal ji. Each member introduced themselves sharing primal details of their work/educationbackground. Based on the introductions, specific questions were asked by the mentor in aquestion-answer format. Such prudent questions took the members into those aspects which were either hidden or not ventured into because of fear or overlooked or unknown.
The mentor then narrated his story impeccably as he spoke passionately about how he started, what were the limitations in the past (like technology wasn’t that developed and communication was restricted to landline and fax) and how he over came them. Later, the mentor also contributed into connecting and filling up gaps for few participants with resources in form of people, ideas and companies. Sharing the excitement of the participants, the mentor invited the participants to get in touch with him via email in case they would like to meet him in person and work upon their life career. Antriksh Tatia, Secretary facilitated a group discussion cum networking session once the interaction was over and delivered vote of thanks.

We used to conduct paper surveys to collect data in rural areas with limited internet connectivity. Thanks to QuestionPro's offline mobile app, collecting offline data is a piece of cake now, especially when you don't have to deal with paperwork anymore..
